Who is Propelled Engineering?

Our company is owned and operated by Art and Cheryl Rudko of Tampa, FL

What is our background?

Art is a highly experienced pilot, and has held an aircraft maintenance certificate for eight (8) years.  Additionally, he has managed and run small and mid-sized aviation departments within large companies.  Art has a total of 20 years of flying and has accumulated 8,200 hours of flight time in single and multiengine propellor aircraft with wheels, floats and skis. He has 5000 hours in both Learjet and Falcon 50 aircraft.  He is a licensed Airline Transport Pilot in both the US and Canada. 

Cheryl has an extensive background in business management, finance, inventory control and operations.

Why did we start the company?

Art is an experimental aircraft enthusiast and recognized the need for a "firewall forward" engine package specifically for experimental aircraft, as an alternative to the Lycoming. He has been working on his own rotary powered aircraft project for several years and long ago determined the rotary to be a safe, reliable engine with a significantly lower price tag (both for initial investment and for the long term) than a traditional aircraft engine.  He is currently installing the rotary in his Thorpe T-18 and is also working on a Mustang II project.
